Yoshi's Woolly World: Bunsen the Yoshi

I long wrestled with the coloring of Bunsen. I think I made two or three other versions playing with the checker pattern on his belly, with the pattern of his arms, with the color brown of his muzzle and other parts. In the end, I decided this was probably the best version of him. Decided to go with an oatmeal brown, which is a bit grey in warm lights, but browner in cool lighting. Couldn't quite find the peach I was looking for. Otherwise, went with the long checkered stripes because otherwise it looked more like a chevron pattern or a diagonal stripe across his belly.. I contemplated leaving out the white patch on his cheeks, but it was meant to be a fang off the original Bunsen, I guess?

I'll have to reiterate-- trying to pattern for crochet when the design is meant for knitting has its difficulties. But, I'm happy with the turn out of the product at least !
